Newsroom Ready: Protests over LNG pipeline continue in B.C., Ontario
Protests at Victoria government offices were peaceful and about the only noise generated were honks of support form passing motorists. Groups of dozens of people gathered outside government office buildings throughout the capital city, at the legislature a four-page Supreme Court injunction preventing blockades of entrances of buildings was posted at several exits. Police kept a watchful eye on a handful of protesters blocking a major stretch of railway in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory near Belleville, Ont., as political pressure mounted on the provincial force to take more decisive action.
