Pamela Hart, Executive Director, Native Women's Resource Centre of Toronto delivers a newspaper to the Offices of the Prime Minister that is filled with 4,000 cover stories, featuring the many faces and stories of Indigenous women and girls in media in Ottawa on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022. The NWRTC said the project is called 4000 Cover Stories and aims to highlight the stories of Stolen Sisters to end violence against Indigenous women, girls and 2SLGBTQIA and was delivered to demand government takes more action to protect Indigenous women and girls, including acting on the Calls for Justice declared in Reclaiming Power and Place: The Final Report of the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.
